Today, our world is on the "technology-era" situation. It is where people use technology in every human activity. There are many technology that continues to grow now. A little example is social media. Social media is websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. People in this era use social media to communicate each-other. People don't have to meet face-to-face to discuss something. They can use this social media. Social media is very helpful for human activity nowaday.

Besides the advantages of social media, there is the weakness of social media. In this case, we will discuss abouth how social media can leads to teenager depression. For you who ask, why can? I  would like to give you a "case-description". If someone, in this topic, teens are on their handphone, we can judge them that they are on their social media. This day, teens are very dependence of social media. In the morning, after they wake up from the bed until at night, before they go to sleep, more than 50% of teens will check up their phone, check up their social media. This dependence can disrupt the life of teenagers.

The survey explores the relationship between teenagers, social media use, and drug abuse. They found that 70% of teenagers age 12-17 spend time on a social media site in a typical day, which amounts to 17 million teenage users. Those that interact via social media on a daily basis are five times likelier to use tobacco, three times likelier to use alcohol, and twice as likely to use marijuana. 40% of these teens surveyed admit to having seen pictures of people under the influence, and are four times likelier to use marijuana than those who haven’t scrolled through these images. The data makes sense: those exposed to pictures of drugs and alcohol are more inclined to seek and experiment with it themselves. Adolescence should be filled with social activity that will form teenager softskills to the next life. Because of the dependence of social media, teens become to very introvert. This will affect to the teenager habit. Excessive dependence can impair the ability of the brain. So, it can cause depression. Teens will very depression if they cant open their social media. This is also make teens are very rude each other because they are rarely communicate each other in real life, in real reality.

]As teenager, we must use social media wisely. So, what we will get is the advantage of social media if we can use it to good activity. But, if we just stare to our social media without caring each other. Beware with teenager depression!
